Me, Myself, & I

First of all i would like to let you know on a little detail about me. My real name is Nidhinesh Singh, but i go by Nick Singh. I honestly don’t know how i ended up with the nick name Nick but i did and it has been with me scenes i was six years old. My passion is photography, Tech, games, sport, and everything a normal eighteen year old would enjoy. I was born in the Island of Fiji and come from a strong background of the Hindu culture. Being born in Fiji, education isn't as “well ” as the education system in America so we decided to move to the states when i was six years old. We moved to Texas where i studied all the way till middle school then moved to California and finished my High school career. While in high school i decided i wanted to major in business but got the chance to do something more towards my hobby of technology joining a program called Year Up. Year Up is offering me the chance to input my business interest with my technology interest together in one. I enjoy what i do and don’t regret anything i have already done, enjoying life and making something out of myself is what i strive for. Only to let myself move forward.

Whats Next in The 2011 Rugby Rise

The 2011 Rugby World Cup is one of the biggest events in the other parts of the world. Rugby is not so popular in the USA but even though The USA team is there to play a full game and not to come back broken. The 2011 World cup was the biggest sporting event held on the host country of New Zealand. Organizers expected at least 95,000 international viewers to show up to the event not forgetting the All Blacks Fan’s already in New Zealand.  New Zealand went with a venue plan to have 13 venues for the World Cup; Having 13 was there way of increasing capacity for the event, Having 12 stadiums 20,000 to 60,000 people. On start of the event Maori cultural was shown all over. Player’s took the field with Tonga Vs. New Zealand All Blacks as the opening match. New Zealand having the win over Tonga 41-10. This brought a lot of talk about how New Zealand might do in the World Cup being the host and all. But if you follow then you might know that they aren’t an easy team to bring down.
The games went on with France beating japan 47-21, Aussie Winning over Italy 32-6 and Fiji destroying Namibia 49-25. As the matches go on the teams fit in more with the massive crowd and the proud cheering, they become harder to beat. Fiji lost against South Africa 49-3 which brought me down a little because I cheer for Fiji, but no rugby fan will lose hope in there team.  Overall New Zealand has been a great host for the game and the games itself are really exciting to. But the pressures on, who knows what might happen.

True High School

Peninsula high school is the high school you go to when you are low on credits. I was a hundred and twenty credits short as a senior. It’s not a normal high school by look; students call it a jail cell because it is so closed down. The food was hard and almost like plastic, no school sports teams or school spirit. Just a place you would go to be in class and go home. That was my thinking before going there. Some facts like the food and no sports and spirit is true but I honestly think that my senior is my real high school experience. The teachers had so much to do but they still cared and were there for you, everyone was friendly and a group like a family. Even without the teams and great school lunches we made the best of what we had. I had the greatest help and that help from all my peers and teachers helped me walk the stage and become a graduate on time as class of 2011.

Strongest Influence

The strongest influence on any young person would differ from what he was taught, to what he wants to present himself as. Going home to his family a young adult would not speak like he would to his classmates; Wording and speech will change to more respectful style. When the young adult is in front of his classmates he might present himself more relaxed letting some words or terms slip out without a worry. Put in a situation like an interview, the form we speak in will change to a more formal and polite style. Going back to our peers, some young adults would change their speech to something different to fit in with a group or attract a classmate he or she has feelings for. I believe that the influence to how we speak comes from the environment we were raised in and the way we were talked to. Raised more freely we might speak openly and not well fitted for the environment, but raised more on the side of lock down and proper speech, we might adjust to the environment put in front of us. I on the other hand try to keep my speech normal and fitted for any event or environment. Sometimes I do happen to slip and say something I shouldn't but I always try my best to keep a look out and listen to what I say before I say it. We might not have control in the beginning but we surely can work to make it proper at times needed.
